ACM BBQ Throwdown

This weekend in Las Vegas!!!!!!  Next to the PBR and NFR coming to town, this is a great time to be in Vegas....cowboys, country music, and BBQ!  You can find out more at www.acmcountry.com.

Have you checked out Pinterest?  Do you wonder what it is? 

Pinterest is a fun website where you can gather ideas you like.  And, you'll like way more than you ever thought you would.  You can see what others are pinning to their boards. 

Oh yeah, boards...you can catagorize your ideas...like pinning them on bulletin boards.

Custom Painted Room for Morgan

My friend Vickie asked me a few weeks ago if I'd do some painting in her grandaughter's room.  I love Vickie so of course I said yes.  I spent two full days painting a free flowing design on her walls.  Vickie spent the whole day on day 2 hot gluing rhinestones to the walls.  She was a real trooper.  We also added butterflies to the walls.  It's busy but I love it...and more important...Morgan loves it. 

Morgan's room is as big as our master bedroom I think so there was lots of space to play with in this room.  I even added some below the chair rail.   

There will be a overstuffed reading chair to snuggle up in here.

National Craft Month

Hey all you crafty peeps...did you know the March is National Craft Month?  It's true!

I think it's extra fitting because my birthday is in March and that I was born to be creative...hehe

So what are you doing to be creative and crafty this month?  

I'm participating in a local craft show beeeeing run by my friend, Autumn

Please try and make it by to pick up some fun, fresh goodies and decor for Spring!

I've mailed my applications for a couple of Fall shows already.

There are three weddings this month on my shedule...flowers are creative. 

There is wood traced and waiting to be cut into cool stuff for shows.

Busy, busy, busy I tell ya...enjoy National Craft Month.

Teen Idol

One of my favorite show when I was a kid was The Monkees.  And seriously, what girl didn't have a crush on Davey Jones.  Earlier this week he passed away from a heart attack in Florida near his home. Its sad to know that he's gone.  I heard on TV that he was the most popular teen idol of all time.  RIP Davey Jones.
